Real Property Acquisition and Disposition

Consists of records relating to the acquisition of real property including buildings and lands for University use through transfer, purchase or donation. Also includes records relating to the leasing and disposition of the University's real property. Records may include acquisition proposals, appraisal reports, surveys, agreements, certification of registration, leases, deeds, plans, drawings and specifications. Note: York University Development Corporation (YUDC) serves as the private real estate developer and consultant to the University. Records relating to the land use of the University and campus development may exist in both the University and YUDC. Despite the overlapping of the records, only those maintained by the University are subject to this Schedule.
