Consists of records relating to complaints submitted to the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Records may include complaints, responses, section 34 requests and decisions, mediation documentation, settlement agreement, investigation report and documentation, case analysis, commission decision, reconsideration request and decision, and correspondence.

Filing Guidelines

For files involving students, retain records other than pleadings for 5 years after student's last active session. For files involving employees, retain records other than pleadings for 5 years after employee is no longer receiving pay or benefits. For files involving others, retain records for 5 years after last action. Return original documents to internal client.
