Filing Guidelines
HR and ER is the Office of Primary Responsibility for recruitment request and approval documentation, application packages, offer letter. The Hiring unit is the Office of Primary Responsibility for recruitment request, job summary, organization chart, interview questions/notes, reference checks, employee transaction form, employment equity hiring form and all pertinent information for internal applicants. Transfer application package and related documentation of new hire to employee file. Destroy applications of unsuccessful external applicants after one year.
